Helping Hands for Nepal was created after a devastating earthquake struck the Kathmandu Valley in Nepal in April 2015. With another huge earthquake shortly after, many lives were lost and infrastructure and homes were destroyed. When their friends in Nepal organized a relief effort two ladies from York decided to help. They joined an international group of volunteers to trek to a remote part of Nepal and build a school.
