   New Proposed Building

Real Himalaya met with the school team. The school have received one small project funded by the local rural municipality to build one level structure with having 2 classrooms, this part of the project was completed in July 2023. After this building, they now have  5 rooms and still need 2 rooms.

The school team requested Real Himalaya and Helping Hands for Nepal to build additional classrooms above this new block. This building has RCC on top so it was possible to add an additional truss structure above that and create 2 rooms.

Recommendation:

After discussion with the school team and our technical team, it was recommended that the Helping Hands for Nepal team build a truss structure above the newly constructed building and create 2 classrooms. The school has no spare space for building another new construction at ground level and this will be the most cost-effective option. This construction will have CGI steel roof with falls ceiling.
