Today is World Children’s Day.
This year’s theme, ‘My Day, My Rights’, is a powerful reminder that children’s rights aren’t optional, conditional, or something to consider just once a year. They live in the small, everyday moments — in the classrooms they learn in, the safety they feel, and the opportunities they can access.

When we listen, explain, include and support, we help turn rights from words into reality.

At Helping Hands for Nepal, we work to ensure that children in remote Himalayan communities have access to safe learning environments, quality education, and the dignity they deserve. From building and repairing schools, to providing educational materials, menstrual health support, and initiatives that keep girls in education — our mission is rooted in the belief that every child’s future matters.

Today, we reaffirm our commitment to uplifting children’s voices, expanding their opportunities, and championing their rights every single day — not just today.
